This past weekend I traveled to NC and spent some time hanging out on the water. Unfortunately, the temperatures were unusually cool and the winds were high for most of my visit, but there was a brief period of enjoyable weather on Friday morning. I was happy to get outside, enjoy some sunshine, and snap some photos of the scenery. These photos were taken along the shores of the Neuse River, on the property of a local summer camp. You can see that there wasn’t much going on during this cold spell, but the landscapes were still beautiful and a delightful change from the persistent Ohio snow. I can only imagine that summer in this area is full of life and color, and I hope to make it back for another visit.
